Privacy
What we collect.
Almost nothing. Glowaly has no accounts, no sign-up, no adverts and no analytics. Your child can play without telling us anything at all. This page explains the small print of that in plain English.
We do not ask children for anything
There is no account to create, no name to enter, no email address to give and no age to confirm. The games load in the browser and run. There are no social features, no chat and no way for anyone to contact a child through Glowaly.
No adverts and no tracking
Glowaly carries no advertising, and there are no advertising networks, analytics services, tracking pixels or third-party scripts anywhere on the site or in the games. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not know who you are.
Glowaly does not set any cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure, but there are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Game progress stays on your device
Time Master remembers how far your child has got so they can carry on where they left off. That progress is saved in your own browser’s storage on your own device. It is never sent to us and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser’s site data for glowaly.com removes it.
The game also stores a copy of its own files in the browser so it can work when the connection drops. Those are just the game’s pictures and code, not information about your child.
What our hosting sees
Glowaly is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website host, it has to handle the technical details of each request — the address of the page asked for, the browser type, and the IP address it came from — in order to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. These records are kept for a short period for security and reliability, and we do not use them to identify or track individual visitors.
If you email us
The only way to give us personal information is to email hello@glowaly.com yourself. If you do, we keep your message so we can reply to you. Our email is handled by Zoho Mail, and we will not pass your address to anyone else.
If you email to join the waiting list for our printables or our book, we keep your address so we can tell you when they are ready, and we use it for nothing else. Ask us to remove you and we will, without asking why.
Links to other sites
A few of our parent guides link out to sources such as the ICO, GOV.UK and published research. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Your rights
Because we hold almost nothing, there is usually nothing for us to show you or delete. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence removed, or you want to know what we hold, email hello@glowaly.com and we will deal with it. In the UK you can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
